It's hard to believe March is here already. I am so ready for spring and warmer days. Soon it will be St. Patricks Day and my son's birthday. I have been busy stitching and reading my Kindle. Just finished reading Flowers for Elvis. It was a good read but kind of strange.
I finished January Calender Girl last week. She was fun to stitch and finish but I sure got tired of 435 lol. I used 28 ct. Clay Linen and DMC floss. I made twisted cord out of yarn. I think it worked out well. I am going to finish all the girls this way.

I have a good start on the February Girl and I am happy that I will have her finished before I receive March. I have finished her head and face since I took this Pic so I will be able to finish stitching the lettering and border tomorrow.

I have decided not to continue on with Just Nan's Peacock Cypher. There are too many other things that I want to stitch that take priority. I am starting Snooty Parrots Sampler by Barbara Ana which will be my large project along with UFO's and smaller designs. I am stitching it on 32 count Lambswool By Wichelt Imports. This is the top left corner.
I am headed to the kitchen for a snack and find a movie to watch.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
