Happy Valentines Day
I would like to introduce Niggles. She is one of my many fur babies. She tries to help me stitch, mostly she just lays on my lap and sleeps.
She is the only one that is a lap cat. All the others don't want to be held for any length of time.
This has been quite a week with all the snow and ice that came our way. Today was the first time I've been out of the house since Tuesday. The sun came out today and temperatures made it to the mid 50's which melted a lot of ice. We live on a hill and our driveway and yard looked like a giant skating rink. I didn't go outside at all. I am terrified of falling again
We were fortunate that we only lost our power for a couple hours. There are still a lot of people without power.
I went to my LSN to pick up Little House Needleworks January Calender Girl and some fabric to stitch the collection on. They had one of these heart boxes on display along with the free pattern by The Workbasket. It was a quick stitch and I wanted to do at least one thing for Valentine day. The pattern was stitched in one color but I used 3 shades of DMC linen floss on 32 count Lugana. I have all the linen colors in my stash and have never used them. I had trouble with fraying until I changed to a needle with a larger eye. I want to stitch a little fob to put inside.
Happy Valentines Day

Niggles is adorable! Your little heart is beautiful.
Hello Niggles! What a sweetie.
Your box finish is so sweet too.
Stay safe and warm this weekend. Hopefully things will have melted away by Monday!
Love your box - and the fob will be perfect. Niggles sounds like my Pixie (pup). She sits with me 98% of the time while I'm stitching. Won't the 70s coming this week be nice??
Awww Niggles is so cute.
What a lovely box finish, I've stitched this free design for a friend on her birthday.
it is a Jacket Back Digitizing product ^$%$6
