Beatrix Update

I promised an update on my Beatrix Potter. I still haven't finished July Sings, but have been stitching on Berry Time. I have set up a 14 day meter for it. I think surely I might be able to finish it in that length of time.

I haven't had much time for stitching, I just did a 3 day stretch at work. There are a lot of people flying and it has been quite busy. There have been a lot of delays cause of weather in Atlanta which means overtime. Have to keep shops open til all flights leave.

It seems like I stitched a lot on Beatrix this month, more than last month. But looking at the before and after I don't see a lot. I still haven't finished the motif at the top. But I am keeping the faith and maybe more will show up in August. Now that I have this much completed it is getting more encouraging to finish one motif so I can start on the next. lol.
Does this make much sense?

Beatrix Potter SAL and a Rainy Saturday

I actually slept in this morning, was going to get up early and see how much progress I could make on Beatrix Potter. It has been raining all day so that could have been a contributing factor.. LOL. I did manage to get started on the second motif at the top and was prodding slowly along and then had to frog out a few stitches. Let me tell you it was not easy cause I am stitching over one on the 28 count.
We needed to run to Walmart for a few things and came home with a whole lot more. So I decided to quit for now and hopefully will get more stitched in March.
I still have three biscornus to stitch in March, (I am half finished with the St Patricks one) plus a Prairie Schooler. I have a plan to do them first off and then have the rest of the month for Beatrix and my Little House Needleworks-Peppermint Lane.
I just realized that I am falling behind on my Prairie Schooler 12 Days of Christmas ornaments. That could be my project to stitch on my lunch break. (when I get one).

I have made a little progress on my Beatrix Potter Sampler SAL. I want to finish the round motif with the big flower before the end of January. One more day of stitching and I will hopefully get it done. It looks to me like that will be the hardest motif for me.
I am stitching 1 over 1 on 28 count with DMC 352 and so any really solid stitching is hard on my eyes even with my lamp and magnifier. I hope I can make better progress next month. I actually have a year to get this one finished and I have hopes of doing so.

My Tiny Treasures Exchange is in the mail and should arrive at it's new home tomorrow. I am finishing up the Prairie Schooler Exchange ornament and will get it it the mail. probably Wednesday. Then I would like to start on Peppermint Lane by LHN and at least get a few stitches done so I can say I started in January lol.
I am still working those crazy hours and it seems like whenever I am home, I need to rest so I can go right back. Sometimes I am only home 10 hours or less.
I actually hate it, but what can I do? I have to keep the wolf away from my door. I am planning on retiring soon and am starting to get the ball rolling. I can't wait to be able to stay home and stitch all I want to. lol.
