I received my goodies from Myra . I was very lucky to win her blogoversary and birthday giveaway. In the box that the post lady brought I found all these beautiful things.

• A pumpkin pin cushion stuffed with walnut shells

• And a darling little bird all dressed up for Halloween
• A beautiful candle mat with scented candle

The Post Lady also brought me this lovely Biscornu from Nita . This was for Please Pass the Biscornu Exchange. I have seen this jewel and admired it and I am so thrilled. Thank you Nita, I love it

Pinkeep

The Post Lady brought me a third package from Amanda. This one came all the way from Italy. It is such a gorgeous pinkeep. It is stitched on Fratelli Graziano linen. I have never seen it before but the little cherub looks lovely stitched on it. I love the way she entwined the ribbons around the edges and such a pretty color of blue.

On the stitching front I am making great progresss, I am finishing up another biscornu and have a pinkeep ready to get in the mail. I also have my pumpkin exchange stitched and ready to finish so it can be on it's way.
I have two pumpkin, fall  ornaments ready to be finished so I can add them to my collection. Hopefully over the weekend I can get these done.

I also saw a tutorial for crocheted ricrac. Want to give that a whirl. I looked at Hobby Lobby for orange or fall colored crochet thread. I couldn't find any so picked up some red. I figured I could use for Christmas ornaments.

We went to Golden Corral to eat and I am stuffed and ready to sprawl on the sofa.

My New Pinkeep

I have received a most beautiful pinkeep from Marie for Stitching and Exchanging She chose a design of a colonial house that I really like. It is so delicate and beautifully stitched and finished. The back is stitched with the words, "In this keep my pins may sleep". She added a pastel green chedkered ribbon around the edges and added some pins on each side. She also sent 3 skeins of pretty floss from Australia, some pretty Lady Bird Fabric ( I really like lady birds and already have some ideas on how to use it) and some lace and ribbons that I can add to my stash. Marie also included a Key Ring from Australia. I have placed it on my ring of keys that I use at work znd wear on my belt loop. I had a hard time getting it attatched so I have no picture of it. Didn't think you wanted to see a pic
