I have been stitching on a couple small projects. One is for an exchange which will go in the mail tomorrow.
The other one is a Christmas ornament for the 2011 Ornament A Month Challenge . I have so many ornaments that I want to stitch up but this one by Val's Stuff has been calling me.
I had the 25 Count Mushroom Lugana in my stash. I stitched it over one with DMC Floss. I wasn't sure if the snowmen were going to show up but after I finished stitching the first one I saw it was okay.
I made the twisted cord and added small gold jingle bells with a gold braid bow. The fabric is also a little more beige than in the picture.

Buffy sure is a cutie. They actually make toys with no stuffing called "Skinees". LOL Fabulous ornament finish - love the bells.

Love the Ornament! Is the twisted cord hard to make? I just ordered the tool to make that for the ornies I just stitched. I'll tell you I'm a little nervous to try to do the cord though....
