Some New Exchanges

I have finished up my exchanges for May and sent them to their new homes.

Prairie Schooler # 139
Rain Rain Go Away.
Stitched on 32 count Ivory Linen with DMC Floss.

Stitched for Donna for The Year Long Prairie Schooler Exchange

I really enjoyed stitching this cute design, kind of like a mini sampler.
I finished it into a pinkeep and used a green floral print for backing.
I have learned how to make pinkeeps. They are so much fun to finish now.

This is a floss tag that I stitched for Monique in The Netherlands. This was for the Tiny Treasures Exchange The design is a freebie from the internet. I don't remember where I got it. I used DMC variegated floss to stitch the flowers and leaves.I finished the back with a dainty lime green print that matches the green floss color.

I dyed the fabric with Crystal Light. I was just experimenting and it turned out a pretty peachy color. I sent her a skein of each color of the floss I used. This was the first time I used my Crop-O-Dile. (also my first floss tag) It was kind of scary for me because I was afraid I would mess it up and ruin the stitching. lol.

I also sent her some goodies from the gift shop.

Hi Bonnie,

I think it's from Primitive Betty's site. I just downloaded it to make for a floss tag exchange, not Tiny Treasures as I opted out this time. I'm also scared to use the Crop!
