Peppermints and Peacocks Oh My

It is a big decision to select something from Just Nan's many beautiful designs. I decided on Peacock Cypher.
I am going to stitch it for The Just Nan Stitch A Long 2014 instead of stitching some of the smaller designs.
I do have some problems with some of the specialty stitches.
My patient wore kind of thin on Christmas Roses so I am avoiding that issue for now.
Just Nan Peacock Cypher
Progress 2/10/2014
I think I am going to like it and I have been wanting to stitch some peacocks. I am sure it would be prettier if I could use the silks (I wanted to get started on it and didn't feel like searching) so I am using DMC 3808 and 3809 on 28 count linen.
I am going to stitch on it Tuesdays and Thursdays.

That takes care of the Peacocks now on to the Peppermints.
I finished Peppermint Lane By Country Cottage Needle Works. It was one of my oldest UFO's. I don't remember when I started it actually but I know it has been several years. I am so happy with it and I really enjoyed stitching with the pretty Crescent Colors. I don't know why it stayed hidden so long.I am looking and trying to decide which will be my next UFO to finish.I am thinking on a Lizzie Kate Easter Sampler as I am thinking Spring. I am so wanting winter to be over.
I am off to stitch on a little Valentine freebie.

Have a great day and thanks for visiting

I think the Peacock Cypher will be very pretty. It's on my wishlist, but have joined the Stitch From Stash SAL this year,so will have to wait a little longer.
Your Peppermint Lane finish is lovely.

The pic of you on the profile is lovely Bonnie, nice to 'see' you. I haven't noticed that before.

You've chosen a lovely design and made a great start on it too, JN's are so addictive aren't they. I have quite a few in my stash, perhaps one will make an appearance this year?

Peppermint is a super finish, well done. So pretty.

Lovely start on Peacock Cypher. Peppermint Lane is sweet, will you frame it or do a pillow finish?
Stay safe and warm.

I want to find a frame for Peppermint Lane. I am thinking on taking it to the framer. We are expecting bad weather for the next 2 days. Freezing rain and ice. Hope we keep our power.
