Long Overdue

Wow time does fly by.It has been two weeks since I went to Amy's for a stitching day.

I rode there with Karen from Karen's Handiwork.
I got to meet a lot of stitching friends and had a lot of fun visiting and stitching.

I finished stitching the biscornu I was doing for and exchange. Time since I have finished it into a biscornu and sent it to my partner in California. I will post pics as soon as she receives it.

I also finished stitching "He's a Flake" the ornament of the month from Little House Needleworks. I still haven't added the beads. The fabric is more of a light green color, I couldn't get a good pic of it. The beads are to be added on the tree.

While at Amy's I used my gift certificate from Berit and got my Crescent Colors . I am so happy to get these and can't wait to start stitching on the designs I chose. Thank you again Berit.

I chose LHN "Strawberry House" stitched on 28 count brown linen. I really like this design with the crow and the strawberries. The colors look so yummy.

I like pineapples so I chose LHN "Pineapples". Here are pics of the finished Pineapple and the Cresceent Colors and fabric I chose.

Did you notice I slipped my TUSAL in the last pic? Killing 2 birds with one stone, as the saying goes. LOL.

Okay, the main reason I haven't been around much is because I have started "Shores of Hawk Run Hollow" by CHS. I purchased the fabric while I was at Amy's. I started on the first block and so far have almost 12 hours stitching. It seems to be going pretty slow but it is on 40 ct.Sand Dune from Lakeside Linens.

Block one-12 hours

Signing off for now.
