Mary Wigham & Eye Problems

I have decide to join in on the Mary Wigham Sal. I was wondering if I needed to start yet another SAL, but I just couldn't resist. I love the bright colors and I am already enjoying stitching on it.
I am using the DMC colors that are in the original chart.

I have set up a rotation of sorts for my WIP's and so far I am sticking to it. I have selected a day of the week for each one. Some days I only have a couple hours stitching time and it is hard to put something down and pick up a new day. LOL. Fortunately I have different days off each week so it should balance out.

This is my progress after two short days of stitching. I was lucky and found the 32 count Lambswool Linen at Hobby Lobby. And I got it 25% off with my weekly coupon. I never would have been able to stitch on this fabric before my cataract surgery. I am loving it.

I had surgery on my left eye about five years ago and I went Friday to have Lasik
done to fix it cause I wasn't seeing too good with it. It was actually worse then the actual surgery I had on my other eye.
They loaded my eye with all kinds of drops and when I left I was all broken out in a rash on my arms and yes this time it is on my face. We stopped at Rite Aid and the pharmacist gave me some Hydrocortisone Cream. Doesn't seem to be doing any good.
People are trying to tell me that I am nuts because eye drops wouldn't cause a rash anywhere but on your face. I am going to my regular DR. tomorrow if it hasn't cleared up. Also I am seeing a lot of floaters. I am getting really depressed about this. It is great to be able to see but..............is it worth all this?

I am off to stitch a little befor I head off to work. Today is Beatrix Potter day.

Sorry to hear about your rash...hope it doesn't stay around too long. Great start on the SAL. I have downloaded the first part but will have to wait to start after some other stitching I just have to finish and have put off to the last minute.

BTW....Hobby Lobby did have some it's 28 ct and 32 ct on the clearance wall a couple of weeks ago. I saw it at the HL on Hwy 1 in W. Columbia. I don't know if any is left but you may want to look the next you were in there.

Sounds like a allergic reaction to the eye drops to me, but I am no doctor! Your MW is looking gorgeous!

I particularly wanted to comment on your MaryW, even though I already commented later on. Isn't this just such a fun stitch? I'm really loving it. It's so nice you can use a fabric you really like -- I dug out a 40ct that I've been saving for something special and I really really love it -- even though I had to get out the really good magnifier too. I'll be back to see this one for sure.
