Time is going by so quickly. Actually I have not been feeling too well the past couple weeks. I have managed to make it to work every scheduled day. We had the Masters Golf Tournament going on this past week so the airport has been quite busy.I have been working the closing shift and with the crazy weather everywhere there has been skads of delayed flights.
It is hard thinking you are going home at the end of your shift and having to stay until last flight leaves.
Friday night we had 7 diverted planes that couldn't land at their destination. We are not a large airport so you can imagine 1200 people hitting you all at once. We normally close by 8:30 but I didn't get home until after 1 o'clock. They were grabbing anything they could find that was edible. I felt so bad for them.
The biscornu I stitched for Taija in Finland has been received. I selected a design from My Aunt's Attic and used DMC variegated floss. She also mentioned on her blog that she collects thimbles, likes M&Ms, Kool Aid and would like boses to use as tin toppers. I gathered up a few things to send along to her.
It is time to get ready to go to work. I hear thunder and it is raining, I wonder what tonight will bring.
Hopefully no more diversions. I hope and pray NOT!
